I extend greetings to distinguished members of the Mongolian Tourism Association, supporters, peers, and fellows in the tourism sector, domestic and foreign partners, tourists, and those who are interested in traveling and tourism.

The tourism industry has become one of the main routes of our new generation development ever since the transition to democracy and market society of our country in 1990. It has been more than 70 years since the start of the history of modern tourism when the "Tourist Service Bureau" was officially established in 1954. The history of modern development commenced through the fields of vacation-leisure time, vacation health care, and vacation-recreation, and the development has been enriched by international travel, domestic travel, inbound and outbound travel in the past 30 years. The ones who developed the industry for more than 70 years from the very beginning, along with its ups and downs, are the wealth creators and companies that are the driving force of the industry and the key to development.

The Mongolian Tourism Association, which is the oldest organization of the industry that has been covering all aspects of the activities in the sector, has been carrying out main duties and responsibilities to reflect and implement the integrated voice of the private businesses in the tourism development policy, act as a bridge between the public and private sectors based on practical circumstances, thus increasing the tourism resources and economic value of our country, certifying service quality, and ensuring cooperation between stakeholders in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Tourism Department of Ulaanbaatar city, provincial and local administrations, other professional associations, and the national council at a professional level for the past 30 years, creating a history by carrying out the difficult task of coordination. Furthermore, we have been cooperating closely with the Government of Mongolia, embassies of foreign countries, private businesses, international organizations, and other non-governmental organizations to promote Mongolia to the world, protect the common interests of our member companies, and develop sustainable tourism.

It is our common goal to grow the tourism sector with a professional focus on the social economy and positive influence and impact on nature and culture, to develop it in compliance with the development policy of Mongolia and the strategic document of "Vision," to increase the return of the industry, and to improve the quality of products and services to be competitive at the international level, and to lead the way in the actual implementation of the destination planning and management, human resources, and digital technology innovation. Sustainable tourism, responsible travelers, a national brand of Mongolia, and a development concept of Mongolian tourism with its own characteristics in line with the international market will be the fundamentals of these aims.

Hereby I extend my warm greetings of the development era to all the colleagues, members, supporting companies, interested parties, and partners in the tourism industry and wish you all to create a happy living together through tourism reassuring our future! And I urge you to develop and promote sustainable tourism enriched with world-class services together by protecting the heritage and culture handed down from our ancestors, highlighting our distinctive features!
