The Mongolian Tourism Association initiates and organizes the "Golden Compass Tourism Awards" annually. The awards are designed to bring international and professional standards into the Mongolian travel and tourism industry and to raise awareness amongst the community of tourism and its importance as a profitable industry for Mongolia.
